The Mahoning River Garden Club was established in 2020 by a group of Struthers residents who had an interest in bringing gardeners together despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. By 2022, the club had expanded its reach to include the neighboring cities along the Mahoning River that also needed a garden club.

The Mahoning River Garden Club is committed to promoting land stewardship and conservation in the once-industrialized communities along the Mahoning River. By collaborating with city officials, small, resident-owned businesses, and other community organizations, we are able to create lively green spaces that enhance the quality of life in the area.

Join the Mahoning River Garden Club to enhance your gardening skills with handcrafted workshops and talks by local garden experts. Learn everything from planting to pest control, tailored to our local area.
Whether you're experienced or just starting out, our club is the perfect resource to cultivate a beautiful garden and to make new friends!
